According to a survey conducted by CreditLoan, 87% of millennials said they’d been broke in the past or were currently broke. “Broke” is defined as having less than $900 in cash or in a bank account.
Imagine approaching your mid-30s and still being financially dependent on your parents. For 43% of 30 – 33 year old Millennials, this is their reality, according to a Yconic/Abacus Data Survey.
A new Merrill Lynch/Age Wave survey found 70% of adults ages 18 to 34 received financial support from their parents within the last year, with almost 3 in 5 millennials saying they couldn’t afford their lifestyles without support. Do you want to be a statistic?
