Pulling Your Hair Out Playing The Social Media Game?!?!
Believe me… I’ve been there and find myself there ALL…THE… TIME! I have finally embraced that all we can do is look at the science of posting times and go with it. With that being said, it is also important to use the insight data and analytics that is available to you to see when your audience is most active.
3 Great Resources For Posting Times On Social Media
1. “The Science Of Social Timing”– This link will give you percentages of social media use by time zone, timing on Twitter, and timing on Facebook.
2. “The Best Time to Post on Instagram in 2019 (and the Worst)” – This link will give timezone diagnostics by category. For example, travel and tourism, media and entertainment, food and beverage, and so on. This allows you to take it to another level of what your post is about and your ideal time for the market you are targeting.
3. “The Best Time to Post on Instagram in 2019, According to 12 Million Posts” – In this link, Later analyzed 12 million Instagram posts and found that the best time to post on Instagram is between 9am-11am EST. This particular link goes deep into Instagram, so if you are a “GRAMMER”, it is a good tool.
No need to let social media effect that beautiful hair of yours!
A little social media friendly reminder
I hate to tell you this, but timing can’t make up for bad content. It is up to you to find out what makes you unique and what your audience is engaging in.
One more thing… just because these are the “best times to post” doesn’t mean you can’t post content at any other time. It just gives you a guide to when you’ll get the optimum exposure.
Always A Work In Progress!
Don’t beat yourself up if you are constantly wondering if you are up to speed with the never-ending changes in the different social media platforms algorithms. I recommend checking in quarterly on any changes taking place, applying them to the best of your ability, and then just BE YOU! Don’t forget… you are branding YOU, so being authentic and consistent will always prevail.
